About the Role

PSM Ukraine Group is looking for a responsible and experienced paramedic to provide medical support to personnel carrying out humanitarian demining operations.

The role involves providing ongoing medical support to field teams, responding promptly to injuries and other medical emergencies, maintaining medical equipment and first-aid supplies, and helping ensure that teams are properly prepared to operate safely.

We are looking for a medical professional with strong practical emergency-care skills who is comfortable working in field conditions, follows established safety procedures, and can work effectively as part of a humanitarian demining team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid and emergency medical assistance to personnel.
  • Provide medical support to teams during humanitarian demining operations.
  • Assess and stabilise injured personnel until emergency medical services arrive.
  • Monitor the availability and completeness of first-aid kits and medical supplies.
  • Assist with the preparation and inspection of medical equipment for field teams.
  • Maintain required medical documentation.
  • Participate in first-aid training and briefings.
  • Comply with company safety requirements and internal procedures.

Requirements

  • Medical education in General Medicine, Medicine, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of experience as a paramedic.
  • Strong practical first-aid and emergency medical skills.
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures for trauma, bleeding, burns, shock, and other urgent medical conditions.
  • Willingness to work in field conditions.
  • Category B driving licence.
  • Responsibility, attention to detail, resilience under pressure, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to comply with established safety procedures.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in high-risk or field environments.
  • Experience providing medical support to demining teams.
  • Knowledge of tactical medicine principles.
  • Relevant first-aid or tactical medicine certificates and training.
  • Previous experience in humanitarian demining.
